Our song for the month of August is Sing! A New Creation #293 “We Are Marching in the Light of God.” The song is originally from South Africa, where it began as a song of protest. The SNC Leader’s Guide says, “Its one line, repeated again and again, packs a punch of perseverance and defiance. In God’s light – in the path marked out by God – we march together to do God’s will.” As we seek a courageous faith we will sing and march in God’s light.

Tonight at 5 p.m. we will gather in the Ministry Center to sing, pray, and reflect on the passage from Joshua 8 in an overflow service.

Since 1944 Bethany Christian Services has worked to bring and keep families together through our services in many countries. These services include sponsorship, foster care, family support, and adoption. We believe that the family is the best place for children to grow and these services have been designed to allow children to stay in their home country, with a local family whenever possible.

BLOCK FEST SAVE THE DATE Mark your calendars for September 9, 4-7 p.m. We will be having our annual block party including food, bouncy houses, and some fun new activities. Make sure to come and join us for this time of fellowship with friends from church and the neighborhood!
