Calvin College hosts a Festival of Faith and Writing every other year in Grand Rapids. Several people from our congregation have gone to previous festivals, and will attend again April 15-17, 2010. To get ready, we will be meeting together once a month to discuss featured authors and their books. This "book club" is called Wheaton Readers. Our first meeting is Monday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. Please join us if you are interested in the Festival, or just in reading some favorite or new authors. At this first meeting we will talk specifically about Eugene Peterson, who authored "The Message" and many other books. Any questions, call Mary Kok, 630-665-4873 or email wmkok@comcast.net.
