YOUTH MINISTRIES

Sunday School

6th Grade - High School

Starting in 6th grade students begin their classes at 9:15 in their respective rooms. Our 6th-8th grade classes focus on preparing the students for the challenges of high school and on maturing in the faith. 9th-10th grade classes take students through the Heidelberg Catechism, a historic summation of the faith taught in a new and fresh way to ground students in an understanding of God’s love for them and how they are to respond. Our 11th-12th grade class has a goal of bridging the gap to an adult faith and responds to the particular needs of those students to do so.

GEMS

Girls Club

GEMS stands for “Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior” and is for girls from 2nd–8th grades. These girls are organized into small groups with an adult woman to lead them in Bible study, games, and crafts. Our GEMS club is combined with Lombard CRC and meets in Lombard during the school year on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 7–9 p.m. To find out more about GEMS or to register, follow this link

Through the Cadets program, boys 1st-8th grade are involved in Bible study, recreational activities and creative projects supervised by qualified leaders. These activities are planned to help develop a sense of belonging and fellowship among boys of our church and community. Our Cadets meet during the school year on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 6:30–8:15 p.m. Cadets is designed to help boys develop into men for God.
